Stamps:
As per Singpost website:
http://singpost.com/quick_services/quicks_03postal.htm*There may be variation of 1 category (e.g. yr package's postageg is $0.80 but I charge $1.00) as all package weights are estimate since I do not own a weighing scale. This is regretted. If you really find that the 20-30cents is such a big deal, I will refund you.
I will normally not charge $2.50 postage at the beginning. If you item is over 1kg, I will usually ask you to top up.
OK as much as you might like to do me a favour and tell me I can get stuff cheaper from shops other than Popular, please don't. Popular is the most convenient for me and I can't be hopping all over the island to save a few cents.
2. Miscellaneous ChargesIDD CallsWith some merchants, it is necessary to call them for verification purposes.
I use 1521 which charges
$0.05/min for calls to the US.
The duration of IDD calls will be rounded to the nearest 1-2 mins as I cannot possibly track of the exact time while trying to clarify order information.
SMSesNecessary to chase participants for payment.
Charges are $0.05/SMS.
The number of SMSes will be duly recorded.
Transport to the PO$0.64 cents for a 1 way trip to the post office.
Total costs: $1.28 per spree.
I will only charge for one trip because I usually do more than 1 spree at a time but make more than 1 trip.
Calls to vPost (and sometimes, spree participants)
These cost money too.
I make at least 1-2 calls to chase them, at least half the time on my handphone (which costs 10cents/min once I exceed my monthly talktime) as I'm usually not at home during working hours. Each call lasts for abt 10 mins including holding time.
As such a nominal fee of $0.50
per spree will be charged to cover local calls.
I will adjust this on a per spree basis to more accurately reflect costs but the fee will NOT exceed $0.50 or be below $0.10.
*IMPORTANT*Individual particpant costs: Envelopes, Bubblewrap, Stamps
Costs that will be split amongst all participants: Labels, scotch tape, IDD Calls, SMSes, local calls, transport to PO.
Formula: ($0.14 x No. of spreers + $0.05 x (No of IDD mins + No of SMSes) + $1.28 + Local Calls Fee)/No. of spreersLast updated 08/07/2006, 2.43PM
